The Gospel is so amazing because it touches every aspect of life and brings something for the better.


What is the Gospel?  It is comprised of the simple yet deep and eternal doctrines of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ; repentance for the remission of sin; entering into the waters of baptism to bring the remission of sin; the divine and everlasting Gift of the Holy Ghost, the purification and ridding of sin; and faithfully enduring through life and all its challenges, to the end so that we can fully and worthily partake of the Atonement of our Savior Jesus Christ.


The Gospel of Jesus Christ is only as simple as our minds allow it to be, and only as difficult as we make it to be.


If only we knew how truly easy it is to live the Gospel.  We accepted it in the life before and wrote our names under "The Obedient."  It's already a part of us -- it's engraved in the marrow of our bones, it's written in the deepest parts of our souls, and we can find it in every crevace of our hearts.  Every part sounds familiar to us; every doctrine, easily applicable -- why?  Because we've already studied it, analyzed it, reviewed it, and stamped our approval on it.  If only we could remember what went on, what we did, what we said before this life, then would we truly know how easy it is to live the Gospel, to put in practice what we've already learned -- the Gospel of Jesus Christ.


One of the hardest things to do; one of the most important things to do; some are blessed with the ability while other plead for it and never receive it; it's a gift from heaven, but is considered as a thing of naught; to the receivers  - the importance of this gift is rarely known; to the givers - it is something that comes naturally; recognized by the grateful, given by the humble, pleaded for by the impatient, known by the meek, emitted by the truly loving; the meaning: eternal, the importance: unknown, the privilege: heavenly.  The gift of listening.


What is happiness?  Experiencing and enjoying all the many wonderful and eternal blessings of Heavenly Father after we fully submit our whole beings to His will, or rather, after obeying Him to whatever extent.  Then will we experience and know what true happiness is.


How apt are we to obey?  To do whatever Heavenly Father asks of us?  If we can't even read a little from our scriptures and pray every day, how are we ever going to get to the Celestial Kingdom?
