Heaven is not so much about being there as it is becoming there - in other words, it's not where you are at, but what you are that determines your eternal happiness.

If you really do want Celestial glory, go to the Savior so the Atonement can change your heart.  Celestial things will start to quicken you.  You will start to love Celestial law!

Godliness is none other than progressive repentance.

The real determining line between each degree of glory is our relationship with Christ.

Many people believe that those condemned to it, will burn in hell.  It's quite the opposite.  Hell has frozen over, and those who are sent there will be in a cold, dark place, having no light.  Celestial glory, on the other hand, is compared to the sun - a source of heat and light.  Those who receive this glory will be beings of light - sources of light and heat.

The lessons of the past are little more than morning dew which fades quickly with the heat of daily living, unless we allow the Spirit to preach to us from the pulpit of memory.  Scholars are those who hear, study, and know great things.  Disciples are those who live and apply great teachings in order to accomplish the small and simple things which become great with time and perserverance.

You will never fully understand the true meaning of God's ways unless you're living Celestial laws.

Just as an eternal perspective strengthened Christ in the Garden, an eternal perspective will strengthen and protect us.

Not forgiving someone is like drinking poison and waiting for the other person to die.

When you get bit by a rattlesnake, you have two options: You can get mad at the snake and hunt it down to kill it, or, you can forget about the stupid snake and worry about getting the poison out of you.
