Acting makes the Atonement an active part of your life.
The greatest lessons are taught and learned while you're walking somewhere.
Don't be surprised when you're changed as you follow Christ.
You can be active in the Church and not active in the Gospel.
Heavenly Father wants us to act, but most of the time we want to be acted upon. We want to be told what to do and how to do it, rather than acting in faith and trusting that the Spirit will guide us.
We have to be willing to do something, not just be willing to know something.
The scriptures and hearing about others' experiences don't help us comprehend our own condition and relation to God. We have to learn on our own; we have to learn by our own experiences.
Learning how to understand and rely on the Atonement will help us in our decision-making but also help us recognize how Christ is in every aspect of every day, not just when we mess up.

Living the Gospel and being obedient are usually not a luxury.
We can do so much, be so obedient, and magnify everything we possibly can and still feel like we are so far away. It is when we truly and sincerely repent that we feel the arms of the Lord around us, that He is qualifying us and we are accepted of Him.
A violin string is of no use until it is stretched. God is going to stretch us. We will all have to go through the refiner's fire.
Our orthodoxy drives our orthopraxy, and vice versa.
The Church provides organization, the Priesthood, and the necessary ordinances. That's why we need organized religion!

To be able to get to a godly place we have to have Godly help. The Atonement takes us to places we cannot get to by ourselves.
Get the earphones out of your head and meditate! Let the Holy Ghost talk to you and help you focus and understand. Don't forget to take the time to meditate because that's when the revelation comes. That's when the divine personal inspiration will enlighten your mind.
